being just one out of a million
out of a hundred million
out of hundreds of millions
I never doubt my specialness
for I am me

But is it possible
could it
really be
that all of us millions out there
99.99% identical
(so the scientists say)
are doing more or less the same

moving along
getting by
chugging down life's swift stream?
the world is different to everyone
and I think that I see
or somehow perceive
in the end
more or less
the most of us


lumber onwards
aimlessly content
much like we've done before
